Shoya Japanese Restaurant Reviews Review submitted 16th January 2012 - by Pamela Gabriel I dined at Shoya with 5 other frequent Japanese dinners (global) on 7th Jan 2012, we were a little put off by the prices, but were stunned by the large serving, which were truly delicious and the very friendly service just capped off a GREAT NIGHT, we were all totally delighted. Thank you Shoya Review submitted 23rd April 2011 - by Scott from Sydney Shoya is the ultimate Japanese dining experience. I went in for one of their set lunches and every dish was 'oiishi desu' delicious. The service was exceptional, the decor is very cool and the food is unbelievable. It may be a little bit more expensive than other Japanese Restaurants in Melbourne though this is well worth it. Such a great selection of Japanese beers, sake and soshu. I sat at the sushi bar and watched the chef make all the sushi and sashimi dish - well worth watching (free entertainment). Highly recommended restaurant.
