Shou Sumiyaki
Sake Bar and Grill is located in the heart of Melbourne's Chinatown at
160 Little Bourke Street Melbourne. Each table at Shou Sumiyaku Sake Bar
and Grill has a Japanese smokeless grill installed for you to cook a
selection of meat on. There is also one of the largest selections of Sake
for any restaurant in Melbourne as well as Japanese bottled beers. Also a
good selection of red and white wine.
Shou Sumiyaki Sake Bar and Grill is a little bit more expensive than your standard Japanese Restaurant though the experience is well worth the extra money you spend.
As well as having a great selection of entrees and bbq menu, the restaurant has some excellent desserts including green tea tiramasu which is absolutely delicious.

Restaurant Reviews Review submitted 10th December 2014 - from Amanda D This place is amazing, the food is so delicious, so many different Goya's to choose from, and the meat you cook yourself on the grill is to die for, can't wait to take my best friend here in a few weeks. Review submitted 28th June 2010 - from Sue Tuohy I took my fussy eating sister for her first Japanese experience and she absolutely loved the food and felt the service was warm and friendly. Major point was that the restaurant was not hot and stuffy even though we had BBQ. Had beef of course but the lamb cutlets were the surprise package. Several side dishes and wine each only came to a total of $110. When is Adelaide getting one!!!!! 25th May 2010 - Scott from Sydney Australia The food at Shou Sumiyaki Sake Bar and Grill is outstanding. I had entree, grill steak and the green tea tiramasu with some beer and sake and it came to around $90 (1 person). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great personalities.
