Restaurant description: A unique Japanese Restaurant where you cook your food at your table on hot volcanic stones. The volcanic stone is heated to 400 degrees Celsius and then you grill your selection of prime steak or wagyu beef or seafood and vegetables on the hot stone right at your table. 4 different traditional Japanese dipping sauces provide with your stonegrill.

Also a great selection of other Japanese dishes including sushi and sashimi and some very tasty desserts

Fantastic! I had walked past this place many times and was always curious about what the Stonegrill was all about. And found out it is just that, a large stone that you grill your food on at your table. The service is great, the food is fantastic. Well worth a visit to this great Japanese restaurant in the heart of Melbourne's Chinatown.
